What do I do and when?

For my definitive guide of what to do and when check out these two blog posts – My Super Stationery Timeline: Part 1 and My Super Stationery Timeline: Part 2

Lead times for the Ready to Order Stationery are 4-8 weeks from deposit payment depending which service you to choose to use. During my busiest times this lead time can change but you will be advised accordingly. Lead times will vary if you are using the Bespoke Stationery service depending on the complexity of your design, but are roughly 8-12 weeks from your artwork fee payment.

Therefore you need to get in touch with me regarding your stationery at least 3 months before you would like to receive your first item. Obviously the earlier you get in touch the better as printing spaces fill up fast.

I always get asked by couples when they should send out their Save the Date cards and Wedding Invitations so I have given you a rough guide below – obviously this can vary from couple to couple.

Save the date cards – Save the date cards are great if you are getting married in a peak time when lots of people are away on holiday, they are usually sent out 9 months – 1 year before the wedding to let guests know the date of your wedding.

Wedding Invitations – Wedding invitations should be sent out about 3 -4 months before the wedding or about 6 months before to out of town guests.

On the day stationery – Once I know you will have received your RSVP’s back from your guest’s I will contact you regarding the details for your ‘On the Day’ items. This is usually about 2 months before your wedding day.

Thank you cards – Thank You cards should be included when you order you other items with me. If they are not included I will wait for you to contact me should you require these. Thank You card orders can be confirmed with your ‘On the Day’ items and be delivered with these.

Can you supply stationery in a shorter space of time?

I know that some couples organize their weddings in a shorter space of time than most so if you require your stationery quicker please get in contact with me to see if there are any last minute printing spaces available.

Do you provide samples?

I highly recommend you purchase one of the sample packs of the design you like when choosing a Ready to Order Stationery design so you get to see and feel the quality of the stationery. More details about the sample packs can be found here.

If you are using the Bespoke Service you will be sent a paper swatch pack to choose your own paper stock to be used for your stationery. Paper samples of each item you require are also available.

How do I place an order?

For a Ready to Order design – Once you have decided on the design for you get in touch to let me know the design you like and whether you would like to use the Simple Personalisation service or the Full Personalisation service. Also let me know the items you would like to order and their quantities so I can work you out a quote.

For a Bespoke design – Please contact me in the first instance so we can arrange either a face to face, telephone or Skype consultation.

How and when do I pay?

For a Ready to Order design – Once you have received your quote and you are happy to go ahead with your order you will be sent an invoice for a 50% deposit of the total amount. If you choose to use the Full Personalisation service the artwork fee will also need to be paid with the deposit.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. I will wait for the funds to clear in my account before producing your proofs. The remaining 50% is due when the last items of your order are ready to go to print.

For a Bespoke design – After your consultation and once you have confirmed you are happy with your quote and mood board I will invoice you for your non-refundable bespoke artwork fee. Once this is paid and cleared in my account your proofs will be created.

50% of your total invoice will then be due before your save the dates or invitations can go to print. The final 50% is due when the last items of your order are ready to go to print.

The bank account information for Lemon Pie Wedding Stationery is detailed on all invoices.
