Finally it’s the weekend!! Friday’s are about winding down, chilling out and making plans for the two days of rest ahead. My Friday post is going to be about what’s hot and happening for the weekend. I will give you the information you need to make your weekend great, and obviously some of these ideas will work perfectly as hen and stag ideas.
‘Something for the Weekend’ could cover a chic new bar that’s opened, the best restaurants around, fab girly getaways or brilliant lads breaks. It could also cover a delicious new cocktail or a stunning new fashion range, oh and of course any exciting wedding fayres that may be happening! It could literally be anything that may take your interest for the weekend ahead.
So on that note…
Smeetham Hall Barn Wedding Fayre
This Sunday (15th January) THE Wedding Fayre…! will be holding one of their fabulous wedding fayres at the fantastic Smeetham Hall Barn. This venue overlooking the water is ever popular and has been specially converted to become a wedding venue. It has stunning grounds that will create amazing photos of your day. Based in Sudbury on the Suffolk/Essex borders it is the ideal location for your big day.
As I said it is being organised by THE Wedding Fayre..! and by visiting one of these fayres organised by Sharon and her team you really can’t go wrong. As a supplier having exhibited at numerous fayres organised by this company I know how organised they are and how much hard work and dedication goes into their planning of these fayres making them well worth visiting.
The fayre at Smeetham Hall Barn is open from 11am – 4pm and will include 33 great exhibitors (although not us this time I’m afraid!), entry is £1.50 and children are free. When you arrive you will greeted by a member of THE Wedding Fayre..! team and your details will be taken to be passed onto the suppliers (only if you wish to do so) so they can then contact you with any special offers they have.
Wedding fayres are a great way to find out about the wonderful suppliers that are out there who can help you create your perfect day. Please don’t be afraid to go and have a chat with them and ask them any questions you have – trust me we LOVE this! Also if the supplier is busy with other visitors don’t be put off just go and speak to another supplier then pop back when their stand is less busy.
You may end up going home with your brain completely boggled and more confused than you went but don’t worry this is normal! Just take your time to go through all the leaflets and flyers that you picked up and be ruthless and chuck away the ones you aren’t going to use and keep the ones you’re interested in. That way when you go through them again you will have narrowed your search down slightly and you can really get on with the planning. And remember, enjoy it!
