Stationery Inspiration | How to set the tone for your wedding

Your save the date cards or wedding invitations are going to be the first thing your guests will see in regards to your wedding day so it is imperative for your stationery to create the right impression. Whether we like to admit it or not when we receive a wedding invitation we do start to imagine what the day will be like based on the design and quality of the stationery.

Even if you don’t have an obvious theme or style running throughout your wedding it’s still important for your stationery to set the tone of your day. Are you having a traditional, formal wedding or something more relaxed and laid back? Your stationery is the perfect way to communicate this to your guests as you don’t want conflicting messages.

Your on the day stationery plays a really important role in helping to link all the aspects of your day together. Firstly it has to follow the same style as the invitations so everything flows throughout. Then there are some stationery items that it would be hard to manage without. If you are having a religious ceremony you will need an order of service to give your guests the vital information they need for the service. Table plans, place cards and table name cards  help direct guests to their seats swiftly and without confusion. All of these items help to keep your day organised and on track without you having to stress out about the little things.

I’ve shown some examples of stationery I have designed for my couples so you can see how your stationery can perfectly reflect your day and yourselves.
